I love this stage of a painting, the details and finishing touches. The small corrections, saving the tonal best for last. Those little highlights and touches that make the imagery in my art “sing”. A leopard in the wild is a beautiful animal to behold, the power of that intense stare, that mesmerising spotted coat, a primal experience indeed. My favourite big cat.
