I have always wanted to do this piece the contrast of the cobalt blue feathers with the iron oxides of the desert in the north of Kenya in a place called Samburu. The imagery represents a typical group of Vulturine Guineafowl walking in single file. The inside colours of the vessel represent the out of focus complex of sticks and red desert oxides in the back ground.
